I have the "old" key written down so that's no problem. If i go for either, are there some walk-through-instructions on doing this without getting into problems with the encryption key etc. When i go into the menus of windows 10 it does not allow me to acces bitlocker settings because i't a windows 10 pro feature so I am not sure what my options are.ġ) resume bitlocker somehow and just continue like before the reset of windfows 10 with bitlocker enabled.ģ) upgrade to windows 10 pro to keep bitlocker enabled? It seems to indicate that the drive is still encrypted but the key is available in the clear. It shouldn't automatically encrypt unless you login as a local admin and attach a Microsoft Account, or add/login with a Microsoft Account. and now the information says bitlocker is "suspended". Windows 10 Home doesn't support BitLocker, but all versions of Windows 10 support Device Encryption, which is what you're seeing here. I had some blue screen crashes so I did a windows reset. It also had "bitlocker" installed and enabled (.even though Microsoft information indicates this is a windows 10 PRO feature) I bought a new Lenovo Yoga 1,5 years ago and it had windows 10 home installed.
